  • RV Travel Bucket List - Places I'd like to visit in my RV

    Here's the start of the list, not necessarily in any particular order.

    Some of these places I have been to in my younger days and really want to go back with the RV and spend some more time.
    • Yellowstone National Park
    • Kitty Hawk, North Carolina - Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks, Kill Devil Hills (Orville & Wilbur Wrights aviation stomping ground)
    • Pictured Rocks, Munising, Michigan (in the U.P.)
    • Sedona, Arizona
    • Grand Canyon National Park
    • Moab, Utah - Canyonlands, Arches National Park
    • Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the yearly EAA Air Venture
    • Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills of South Dakota for the Sturgis Bike Rally
    • Blue Ridge Parkway
    • Zion National Park
    • Bryce Canyon, Utah
    • Grand Teton National Park
    • Acadia National Park
    • Arches National Park
    • Glacier National Park, Whitefish, Montana
    • Olympic National Park
    • Yosemite National Park
    • Great Smokey Mountains National Park
    • Idaho - not sure where but it sounds like a neat place
    • The Sequoia Forest, California - Giant Redwoods
    • Crystal River, Florida - Swim with the Manatees
    • Highway 1, Coast of California - Monterey, Big Sur, & Santa Cruz
    • Olympic Peninsula, Washington
    • Crater Lake, Oregon
    • Pikes Peak, Colorado
    • Explore all of the Rockies and the "Million Dollar Highway"
    • Flaming River Gorge, Utah
    • Drummond Island, Upper Peninsula, Michigan
    • Alaska
    • Whitewater Rafting in West Virginia
    • Whitewater Rafting on the Colorado River
    • Bluewater Key RV Resort, FL
    Please add suggestions or make your own list for everyone to get ideas from.

    Holy cow Josh!!! That is a great list----you better pack and get rolling!!!

    Our list is less ambitious ; for 2015, we want to Silver Lake once and not breakdown!

      I know and I've got more to add! Work needs to quit getting in the way and Diesel needs to go below $1/gallon.

      I feel like you've got the kinks worked out and this is going to be an amazing summer.

        I also visited some of these places and had great memories related to them. I hope you also have. So, would you like to mention one of those places which are on your hit list to see once more in your traveling life? I am keen to know and would like to read your views about Olympic Peninsula, Washington? Hope you like to share with me frankly.



        Who has fun to go with buses from new york to washington dc ?
